MLTE Workshops 2010
Workshop Dates 2010
A place at any of these workshops costs £50. You can buy a place via the shop or use the attached booking form.
Workshop programmes usually offer a morning spent indoors discussing admin issues and disseminating news and information from the Mountain Training Boards. Afternoons are spent outdoors looking at current issues regarding syllabus areas. We usually try to offer a session covering the Single Pitch scheme and a session covering the Mountain Leader and Walking Group Leader schemes.
Bring appropriate outdoor clothing and equipment. With regard to domestic matters, there's tea/coffee on arrival @ 9.30-10am, morning coffee at around eleven-ish, lunch (usually a buffet, sometimes a sit down meal) and afternoon tea on return from the outdoor session. We aim to finish at around four. If people wish to leave from the afternoon session i.e. not return for tea, that is fine.
A free place on each workshop is offered to the host venue. We are always interested to hear from centres wishing to host a workshop so please contact us if you are interested. Our requirements are a meeting room and the catering requirements described above.
